Students that attend another college or university before joining the UA family are just as important to us as those fresh out of high school. Just because you may not be the traditional incoming freshman, there is plenty of support and opportunities available to you. To learn more about transfer requirements visit the How to Apply Transfer Eligibility section on the Admissions website! Our UA Admissions team is an excellent resource if you have questions about the process and requirements for students currently enrolled at another college or university. There are transfer guidelines available to review if you'd like a more comprehensive, step-by-step guide. Advising Resources
Ensuring that courses from other institutions can be applied toward a UA degree is one of the greatest concerns of transfer students. The UA provides multiple resources to assist both students who are transferring from other institutions and current students who wish to take classes at other schools as they make their course selections. The Advising Resource Center, or the ARC, is your one-stop shop for general advising information. Not sure who your advisor is or how and when to link up with them? Find contact information for all UA advisors in the "Find My Advisor" directory, where you can look up your advisor by major or college.
Confused about what other academic support services exist on campus? A quick trip to the ARC website can get you going in the right direction. All students have at least one advisor for each major.Thinking of adding another major or minor, or thinking of changing your major? Consult the ARC advisor directory and schedule an appointment with the advisor in the new major in which you are interested. If you are pursuing a major in Science, Engineering, or Math, check out the ASEMS program for transfer students!
