We know we probably aren't the first to welcome you to the Wildcat family, but if you have been admitted as a UA student, we are just as excited as everyone else to have you here! Your journey toward a UA degree will be one with ups and downs, victories and disappointment, joy and frustration, and lots of support. If you are an incoming freshman or transfer student that has experienced foster care, is struggling with homelessness, or you just don't have a support system to help you through the process of this transition, you are in the right place! College is a time where we get to find our independence, develop that part of ourselves that will transform us into the adults we will become, and a time where we find out that relying on each other is one of the most important things we can do to support ourselves in any endeavor we embark on. If you would like to learn more about participating in the Fostering Success program, please click on the red join button on the top right part of this window and one of our staff members will be in contact with you soon. If you have a UA visit scheduled, please let us know when you will be here on campus so we can do our best to be there to welcome you in person! Email us your tour date and time at fosteringsuccess@email.arizona.edu.
If you are the first in your family to attend college, we encourage you to check out First Cats! You'll have additional supports in working your way through being a UA student, for as long as you are a UA student.
Still have some lingering questions? Never fear!! Near the bottom right part of this window, there is an option to chat with an SOS team representative - they answer just about any question you can come up with! If you have more specific admissions questions, call the UA Admissions team at (520)621-3237 or email them at admissions@arizona.edu!
